Composition in the Park Meetup

Composition in the Park Meetup

Sunday 19 January
Raymond Drive - 12pm - 2 Hours
Martina Landolt
Come and join us as we explore composition in photography.

Composition is one of the most critical element in photography. Composition is how a photographer arranges the visual elements within their image, frame. You may have heard of formal rules, opinions, some of which you can trace back to historical art movements and painters.

Composition remains the key to creating strong images in all photography genres. Composition is what guides our eye through an image and gives importance to the subject. It creates the story for the viewer and how we as photographers convey that message.
Join us as we learn to see through guided rules as we explore this park in winter.

I loved the detail on this lizard. However, the background was very similar to the lizard body colour. In Lightroom I picked a background preset which toned it down somewhat, but not enough. So created a mask and turned down the background even further. A little ?pop? on the lizard skin and I was finished. I hope you like it.
